90% of our communication with our parents is through email. We communicate through email because most passed out bulletins never seem to make it home with the kids. Email is more efficient and paper is not wasted. We will email out any new updates or information you need to know throughout the year. We also post some new updates on Facebook. Please add Pure Energy to your contacts so that the emails are not blocked by spam.
Students are not to be left at the studio for excessive time periods before or after their classes. Please contact the studio if you think you will be more than 15 minutes late to pick up your child.
Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15.00 will be added to your account after the 10th. If the 10th falls on a day the studio is closed or on a weekend, payment must be received early to avoid late fees. For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard and all accounts can be paid online through your account. All tuition and fees are non-refundable.
Note: Tuition is posted at the end of each dance day. If your tuition is turned in after the 10th, but your check is dated sometime between the 1st and the 10th, a late fee will be added to your account.
All payments and any other dance correspondence must be handled at the dance studio. All PE teachers have a day job as well as a family and personal time that we are dedicated to. It’s very important that we keep the dance business outside of our daily job to ensure we are giving a 100% to our family and employer. Payments will not be accepted by teachers outside of the studio because they can easily be lost or turned in late. You must make your payment either at the studio or online.
You have access to your account online. You can view your charges, payments and make your monthly payments online with a Visa or MasterCard. With your online access you can also order shirts, change your personal information, add a credit card and set up auto pay, etc.

Annual Recital:
PE takes pride in our dancers and the recital at the end of our dance year. It takes months of preparation and hard work to put on a great show. We begin the year teaching our dancers the dance skills needed for their level. In December, we start the recital dances and begin teaching them how to be performers and entertaining their audience the best of their ability. It takes a lot for a dancer to get on a stage in front of 1,000+ people and perform their routine with a smile and enthusiasm. It is normal for some dancers to experience anxiety about performing on stage. Please allow our teachers to help them work through these feelings. Our goal is to create confident, strong dancers from our 3 year olds to our high school dancers.
The recital is normally held the 3rd weekend of June on a Saturday night, depending on the availability of the auditorium. There is a mandatory full dress rehearsal the Friday before the show. Dress rehearsal is mandatory.
Recital Fee:
A Recital Fee will be due in the spring. Included with your RF is one recital DVD. Please read your policy and procedures for further details.
Recital Pictures:
TriCoast Photography is the studio's photographer.
Costume Fees:
The majority of our classes require two costumes for the recital. Costumes will range from $75-$85 per costume. Everything your dancer will need for the recital will be included with your costumes. A non-refundable costume deposit will be due November 30th. The remainder of costume fees will be due January 31st. If a student is withdrawn from the studio after costumes have been ordered and deposits made, you are still responsible for the balance due on the costume on January 31. No costume fees will be refunded, even if a student withdraws from the studio. If a costume deposit is not received by the due date then the child’s costumes will not be ordered.
Please refrain from withdrawing a student once costumes have been ordered and recital dances are started. The teacher has to choreograph the entire dance again when a student is taken out. Please speak to the dance teacher if there are issues with your dancer’s attendance in class.
Christmas Performance:
Pure Energy loves the opportunity to step out into our community and spread the Christmas cheer! Each class will learn one short Christmas dance to perform in November and December at various local holiday festivals in Brazoria County. We will begin workinging on our Christmas dances in October.
Christmas Costumes:
Each group will require one Christmas costume for the performances. Each costume will run approximately $50-$60 each. You will be billed out in October for your costume(s) and have a due date of October 31st.
